don't give up on us now: spirit week

Just realized I never blogged about homecoming. ...Maybe because it wasn't that important to me. Idk. I have no school spirit. /never helped with homecoming skit or deco or airbands/
Which is probably why this entire week, I've just been really tired. Too tired to work up the fiery self-righteous outrage over the fact that the sophomores were "copying" us. Okay, okay, yes, I know that the people who were working on homecoming have done so all throughout the summer and I'm sure they'd get really worked up over apparent "biting" from the class of 2015. But was it really necessary to add several "BE ORIGINAL"s in our skit, stand up, and point at the sophomore class? Idk. Just seems like a way of creating real class rivalry to me. The whole point of homecoming is, after all, unity, right? *UNITY CLAP*
The same went for yesterday, when the senior class got cut off and there was the whole shebang of admins vs. senior class which ended up being entire school unified blah blah blah
I get that that was the seniors' last homecoming, and that Michelle Lee is an extraordinary class president for making sure the last airband got to perform, yay, emotional stuff.
I lost my train of thought. I really am too tired for this.
Anyways, this week was Homecoming week. Yes, it was worth baking in the sun and getting sunburned. But I am so tired that I'm really, really glad it's over.
And it's PSAT tomorrow. Yey for taking important standardized tests while being abnormally exhausted. Part of which is because of Neilson/Ware's five-chapter AP Bio test on JUNIOR DAY, the first test that I ever crammed for (usually I've studied for days well before) but now it's over and done with and I currently have an A+ anyways so.
