Feeling pretty okay today so I guess double update today?! Haha after slacking off in January... sorry finals kicked my butt and then swim season started and then I was too busy talking to Minh-Tuan and laughing at racist jokes and reading EXO fanfics to blog.
(Excuses, excuses.)
Well anyways now that I've reached 10k hits on this blog (mostly for my pictures, heh) I guess it's time to make another blog post?! I don't know?! This paragraph originally had a point???
Time trials for swim season today. They also took place yesterday, but I had an orchestra concert to go to so I only swam the 100 free (1:05) yesterday. Wow, added two seconds from last year :C
OH OH OH funny stories from the concert yesterday--
Orchestra was backstage and waiting for the concert to start (Hopkins kids already left to their seats) and then finally we got moving and Mark said, "Where are we going?" To which I replied, "CANDY MOUNTAIN!11!1!1!!1!" with an inordinate amount of enthusiasm. As I said this, we were walking out of the theater room and into the hallway, where there was a vending machine filled with (gasp!) candy. And Damon (the cutest freshman ever, omq he has an adorable baby face and he recently got these lovely Ray Ban frames that I pretty much want to steal), who heard me, pointed at the vending machine that he was standing in front of and said, "Candy mountain???" LOLLLLLL
Also also also
Me Louisa and Victoria didn't want to go back into the theater after we performed (which was a terrible disaster, by the way, but which one of our concerts isn't?) and so we went to the girls' bathroom to gossip like we did during the winter concert. Well then we came out, and there was this alcove near the bathroom where we could sit down and be unobserved from the general lobby.
So we were sitting there and playing Down By The Banks (cult song!!!) and then Harrison (the scary band guy???) came along and just looked at us and was like "wow omq I can't even" (he'd already come across us once and asked us to go into the theater lollll)
And then later we were joined by Mark and Sean and other people and we played more Down By The Banks and Harrison caught us again and then his face really was like "I can't deal with this I wasn't paid enough for this crap" and Louisa asked him if he'd like to join omq
Needless to say, he did not, and we went in and watched Wind Ensemble like good kids.
Back to time trials-- Jeremy was really surprisingly fast actually.
I beat Chris in the 100 IM looooool
All the guys look really weird in caps I'm sorry.
Times:
50 free: 29.06
50 breast: 35.64
100 IM: 1:11
50 back: 35.90 (slower than breast! dishonor on my cow)
50 fly: 33.02
Jeremy kept talking about his 28.98 50 fly l0l "The cap makes all the difference!!!!!1!1!1!"
Yeah, it's not that you slack off during practice and am still fast. I'm jealous :C I can't get fast unless I try every practice.
But swim season is starting to look like a gr9 year.
Swim practice tomorrow! Two-piece Friday, actually haha. I'm kind of looking forward to it.
