Today was a busy busy day.

Started off my day with Chinese school at 8:50 to 12:20 ;~; Since I didn't go for the past three weeks (swim meets all on Satudays, on Fridays, on Wednesdays, every day ._.) I missed taking the midterm as well, so I made up the reading and writing parts of the midterm today. Apparently, I finished the reading part really fast, (and everyone else thought it was really hard but I thought it was easy lol) so either I failed it or I aced it.

And we all brought our laptops to practice writing our essays within fifteen minutes. When we were done writing the teacher was like "ok gaise close your laptops nao~~~" but Eric and Brian were like "lol nope" and Brian was playing Maplestory LOOOOL

Then she got mad at them.

It was cold and rainy and I was kind of dressed up because I had to go straight from Chinese school to volunteering at Tech Musuem and they don't let volunteers wear blue jeans :c

Anyways... so I went to Tech Museum and idk maybe all the volunteers died but there was only me, Patrick, Poorva, Sam (the guy with the cute hair/face!) and this other guy whose name I never learned lol. And the floor lead was like "oh I see you got rescheduled to this week because of your swim meet! How was it? DID YOU WIN?"

Every single time I say I went to a swim meet. Non-swimmers are like. Did you win? And I'm like. ...Yes. Sure. What. Because our entire team always wins the meets, yes. But individual events and............ lol nevermind whatever yes I won because I'm good like that

So I went to my stations: Program Space, Water Table, Earthquake, and back to Program Space again. Program Space = playing with dominoes: setting them up around the circular table and knocking them over. hah. ALSO BROKE MY KINDLE ;~; (don't even ask me how I did I don't even know ok it was in my apron pocket and I was leaning over the table when all of a sudden I hear a CRACK and I'm like uh that didn't sound good so I pull out my Kindle dear and half the screen is snowed out =___=) but just now my mom called the Kindle people (one year limited warranty, wheeeeee?) and they said that they're going to send me a new Kindle and I have to send in my old broken Kindle. so yeahaahfahsdfh

Going on with my volunteering shifts:

Water Table = standing around looking around at people >.> Then break! Break = free popcorn. Earthquake = actually having to talk to the people at Tech Museum. lul and there were these two little boys who were really cute and kept asking me the magnitude on all the earthquake simulations. When it got to the 8.3 Japan one, they kept jumping up and down going "it's Japan! it's 8.3! wooowwwoheokrhowe!" and it was adorable luululll.

back to Program Space = making this drawing robot thing with an actual motor attached to pens and it ran around the paper drawing stuff lul. :D twas fun. + sam and patrick were there, along with others and we did the domino thing again. lul except this time more complex and even went off the table onto two stools so it made a big bang (hah a big bang hah) when the dominoes crashed c:

volunteering finished at 5 and then I went back home and changed into my Chinese costume for the fundraising concert at 8. Had to get there at 6:50 so ate dinner (Chipotle chicken bowl!) on the go, lul. Forgot utensils so had to walk to Panda Express in my Chinese costume (got many weird looks because my costume is shiny and covered with silver balls lol and includes a crown headpiece lul) to get a fork. 

Then we performed and in my opinion it wasn't that good but whatever

Young Men were cute. their performance is always cute. lol I think I memorized Barber already just because of the amount of times I've heard it lfjdksal; still never gets old tis quite cute very cute especially the "didily BOOOOP" part

okay none of you get what I'm talking about lol 

but I have one last thing to say

Wow, we were really young. Especially me lol, since I was twelve-going-on-thirteen and still had long black hair, parted in the center. oh my ugly days fdjksla; what am I saying I'm still ugly but when I was UGLIER lol and you were...... fifteen. I suppose in a way you were more of an older brother than a boyfriend but you were asked me to be your girlfriend and I was silly and agreed anyways. But it's not like we did anything besides hug and hold hands and you always liked to put your hand on my cheek and like hold my face.Then after the two weeks that you stayed with our family (you were my mom's friend's son, awwwwwwwwwwwkward) you went back to Hong Kong and you wrote me letters and I wrote you letters and it was nice for a while until I guess it was a mutual breaking off? Because I didn't really.... do the whole long distance relationship stuff and I started liking other boys and when I went back to Hong Kong two years later, you had a new girlfriend. And I remember thinking that it was really strange that we even 'got together' at all because you were three years older than me and a lot more mature (as mature as a teenage boy can get) and really when we met again it was like wow, a whole new person. And by then my hair was chopped to my chin and I had straight clunky bangs and contacts and was entering high school.

Have I ever said how much I hate hyper dogs? Like, the little small ones that stare at you with their beady little hyper eyes and keep hopping around like little hyper monkeys on their little hyper legs and they bark at you with their little hyper mouths.
Like, "yipyipyip. yipyipyipyipyip? yipyipyipyip!" and they won't stop yipping. Their yipping is also in this high pitched, unbearably annoying hyper sharp little voice that just bites into your eardrums and you can't ignore it and they jump around you and hop around and are generally so hyper that all you want to do is pick them up and bring them to McDonald's and drop them into the deep fat fry fryer.
Well.
I think that it's a good thing I don't own a small hyper dog. Or any dog, in that instance.
I mean, if it were cute, and like a teddy bear dog, or a white toy Pomeranian maybe I could put up with some yipping, just because of the kawaii-ness. But maybe not. Forever cat person. Or a hamster person. I loved that hamster I had in third grade. Its name was Choco. He had red eyes. He bit my mother once. My dad was always threatening to put him in a frying pan and eat him for dinner. He was on his squeaking running circle wheel thing at odd hours of the night. He bit me whenever I tried to take him out of his cage. I loved him with all of my nine-year-old heart. And then he died at two years old, when his brown fur started turning grey. He had a nice life.

.......I think that when I grow old and wrinkled and gnarled, I'll get meself a cat. Or a white toy Pomeranian.

Good things about swimming: don't need to care about calories because burn off more than 1000 calories every day from swim practice! also get tanned and toned and stuff like that.

Bad things about swimming: man shoulders, muscley legs when going for slender, goggle/cap tans :C, uneven tan lines (so can never wear crop tops because then show my hip tan lines jfkdl;a)

So today at the meet at Newark (that we were technically 'hosting', even though it was at Newark LOL. Best team in the league, shittiest pool in the league.) was shitty and terrible and freezing (Michael Hou got hypothermia omq this is where my lifeguard first aid training comes in handy fmdsa;lkjf) so basically everyone swam like shit.

Except I managed to drop like a second on my 100 IM. I now have a 1:10.75 c: c: c:

There was this one girl from Amador Valley that kept beating me in all of my events! Like 100 IM, 100 breast, 50 free..... even the relays :c 

But anyways we won the invitational in all of the divisions! Which was really surprising to me lol because it looked like Amador Valley JV Girls were kicking our frozen butts. 

200 Medley relay... B relay beat us omq -_________-

100 IM, came in like second of the heat and around third or fourth in the entire event. Points scored!

then when I went down to the warm-down lanes and jumped in, then all of a sudden this guy comes out of nowhere, swimming fly, and the back of his hand hits my left eye so hard I'm stunned and see white lights and think I'm dead for a few seconds. Then the pain hits. And I am unfortunately not dead, because it hurts like an Oedipus. Not even wearing goggles x__x so I'm just standing in the water clutching at my eye and like sobbing in pain and the guy's really sorry and stuff and also stands there like "Are you okay??? Are you okay??? I'm really sorry!!! Are you okay???" And I'm too busy sobbing and clutching to like answer him but I finally manage to blubber out a "yeah I'm fine" to him but since I was crying pools and like clutching my eye I don't think I seemed very 'fine'. So apparently the only Mission person who was in the pool and saw me get hit was  the person mentioned in the post before and also is very easy to figure out who because he is six feet tall yes and he just like came over and hugged me and like rubbed my back or something to I don't know, try to get me to calm down? fjdk;jkflsa; IT HURT SO MUCH so I was just standing there crying. And then he was like oh what do we do what do we do and then I looked at him and he was like can you open your eye? And I was like um it feels swollen and then he said 'looks like there's blood coming out of your eye socket come on let's go let's go to Cory' and then I freaked

but turns out it wasn't coming from my eye socket (pheeeeeew) but a cut about a centimeter long at the very inner corner of my eye (it still hurts now, but thank goodness it stopped bleeding) and then I just got ice and they took me to like the office and that person stayed with me the entire time and like got his spare towel for me and my parka and all that stuff and then when it felt less swollen he took me back.
